Meet Gladys

Gladys the pot-bellied pig Gladys could have made an entrance at Chenoa Manor accompanied by Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive".   She was a Hurricane Katrina victim, found tethered to the front porch of a flooded Louisiana home.

These days you'll often find Gladys resting in the cool grass under a shady tree - a far cry from those hot & humid days down on the Gulf Coast.

Gladys is the epitome of a southern belle, charming everyone she meets with her long eyelashes, southern grunts, and perpetually moving tail, complete with a white tuft.   This wonderful girl loves people, belly rubs, and snacks (although not necessarily in that order)!
