Meet Margot
Margot, a pot-bellied pig, discovered Chenoa Manor with the help of the Lancaster County Humane League.
Margot had been found wandering a Lancaster neighborhood, dazed, confused, and homeless. The Humane League promptly transported her to Chenoa Manor, where she made herself at home.
Named for Bette Davis' central character in the 1950 Academy Award winning film, All About Eve , Margot is able to conjure up Ms. Davis' feisty, spirited, independent personality as she sashays throughout Chenoa Manor's grassy fields. Margot will cut you off mid-sentence if you dare approach her without a tasty morsel and turn her back on you if she finds your company boring and dull. After all, there are mud puddles to discover and piles of straw to snooze under.
