Say hello to Phoebe, one of the members of our adorable rabbit family.

Phoebe is one of the lucky rabbits who have found sanctuary at Chenoa Manor.  Many of our rabbits have come to Chenoa Manor after being rescued from laboratories; others have arrived from animal shelters, where they were considered unadoptable and targeted for euthanasia due to a lack of space. 

Sadly, rabbits are one of the most maligned animals in our society:  often raised for food or their fur, used in laboratory experiments, and frequently discarded at shelters. 

At Chenoa Manor, our rabbit population lives in a group setting (called a "warren"), much as they would in their natural environment.  They're allowed to chew, gnaw, burrow and engage in all sorts of normal rabbit behaviors.
